Journalist Paula Roth profiled me for The Brooklyn Paper. Her piece weaves all kinds of details into single sentences, and reading her article made me one very happy writer. Also had a great photoshoot with Jeff Bachner early the morning after I flew back in from reading in the Miami area, at Books & Books in Coral Gables. Despite my half-asleep state, he managed to capture an image my publisher wants to use on the paperback edition of Mexican High. (And I’m wearing a Milagro necklace.)

The date of the 440 Gallery reading, however, has since been changed due to booking issues. The new date for this reading, with novelist Bryan Charles and poet Filip Marinovich, is Wednesday, September 10th at 7pm. 440 Gallery is located in Park Slope, Brooklyn.
