I’m heading off to Maine for an assignment — I will post the article here when it comes out in October or November. Won’t give anything away now other than…let’s just say I’m very excited about this one.

Also just received some good news: I’ve been invited to read from Mexican High at Celebrate Mexico Now 2009, an annual arts and food festival celebrating, you guessed it, all things Mexican, in New York City. My reading and Q&A will be held at the Rey Juan Carlos at NYU on September 9th at 6pm. Can’t wait to check out what else they have going on this year! Hopefully some tacos al pastor…

In other, non-writing-related news, Baxter met Sumo, a Mastiff, in Prospect Park on Sunday.
