How Nature Builds

The Buckmister Fuller exhibit at the Whitney is amazing, really worth checking out. The adjectives utopic, visionary, optimistic, and eccentric spring to mind. Now I’m really looking forward to reading Peter Bognanni’s novel THE HOUSE OF TOMORROW, reported by Publisher’s Lunch to be “a humorous and heartwarming story about a young man raised by his grandmother in a geodesic dome and home-schooled on the teachings of the inventor and futurist Buckminster Fuller, who upon leaving the isolated existence he has always known discovers the joys of punk music and the heartbreak of first love.”
But that will have to wait until next year-ish as the deal for it was just announced.
I’m off to one of my favorite places for just a little more down-time tomorrow… Cherry Grove, Fire Island: hot beach, hot drag queens!
