After the New York events, I’m very excited for the next leg of my book tour — traveling. Tomorrow I’m off to Boston, where I’ll be reading Tuesday evening at Brookline Booksmith with Jason Brown. His short story collection has the most incredible title: Why the Devil Chose New England for His Work.

Flying south to Florida on Wednesday to catch up with the great folks of the Kerouac Project before reading at local independent bookstore UrbanThink on Friday. I’m looking forward to meeting the current writer-in-residence, Justin Quarry, and stay once more in the back bedroom where Kerouac wrote The Dharma Bums!

Saturday, it’s on the road to Coral Gables to read that evening at Books & Books. There will be some live music in the courtyard afterward. And Sunday = South Beach.
